HINT:
The procedure described below is for the driver side of LHD. Use the same procedure for both the front passenger and driver sides of LHD, unless otherwise specified.



1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD LH (w/o Vertical Adjuster)

  1. for Driver Side:

    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the 5 claws and remove the front seat cushion inner shield LH.

    3. Remove the seat adjuster cover cap.



  1. for Front Passenger Side:

    1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the snap ring and reclining adjuster release handle RH.

    2. Remove the screw.

    3. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the 5 claws and remove the front seat cushion inner shield RH.

2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD LH (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

  1. Disengage the hook.

  1. Remove the clip.

  1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the 2 claws and clip, remove the front seat cushion inner shield LH.



3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT BELT INNER ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Remove the front seat belt inner assembly LH (Click here).



4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT BELT INNER ASSEMBLY RH

  1. Remove the front seat belt inner assembly RH (Click here).



5. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH (w/o Vertical Adjuster)

  1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the snap ring and reclining release handle LH.

6. REMOVE SEAT TRACK LOCK OPEN LEVER LH (w/o Vertical Adjuster)

7. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

  1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle LH.

8. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

  1. Remove the screw and vertical adjusting handle.



9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH (w/o Vertical Adjuster)

  1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the 5 claws and remove the front seat cushion shield.



10. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

  1. Disengage the hook.

  1. Remove the clip.

  1. Remove the 2 screws.

  1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the 2 claws and clip, remove the front seat cushion shield LH.



11. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

  1. Disengage the 2 guides and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.



12. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.



13. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION LOWER SHIELD LH

  1. Remove the clip.

  1. Disengage the 3 claws and remove the front seat cushion lower shield LH.



14. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION LOWER SHIELD RH

HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.



15. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE RH (for Front Passenger Side)


  1. w/ Seat heater system:

    1. for Lengthwise direction:

      1. Disconnect the occupant detection sensor connector and seat heater connector.
      2. Disengage the wire harness clamp.
      3. Remove the connector and front seat wire.

    2. for Lateral direction:

      1. Disconnect the occupant detection sensor connector and seat heater connector.
      2. Disengage the wire harness clamp.
      3. Remove the connector and front seat wire.



  1. w/o Seat heater system:

    1. for Lengthwise direction:

      1. Disconnect the occupant detection sensor connector.
      2. Disengage the wire harness clamp.
      3. Remove the connector and front seat wire.

      1. Disconnect the occupant detection sensor connector.
      2. Disengage the wire harness clamp.
      3. Remove the connector and front seat wire.



16. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION WITH COVER PAD (for Cover Integrated Type)

  1. w/ Seat heater system:

    1. w/o Vertical Adjuster:

        Disconnect the connector.
      2. Disengage the 2 wire harness clamps.

      3. B215704
        Remove the 2 front seatback cover band and cushion band.

      4. B215710
        Disengage the 2 wire harness clamps.
      5. Remove the airbag connector.

    2. w/ Vertical Adjuster:

        Remove the 2 front seatback cover bands.

        Disconnect the connector.
      3. Disengage the 2 wire harness clamps.

      4. B258856
        Disengage the 3 wire harness clamps.
      5. Remove the airbag connector.



  1. for Driver Side:

    1. w/o Vertical Adjuster:

      1. Remove the 4 bolts and the front seatback.

      1. Remove the 5 bolts and the front seatback.

    1. Using a screwdriver, remove the E-ring.

    2. Remove the 4 bolts and the front seatback.

  1. Remove the cushion band from the seat cushion frame.

  1. Remove the front seat cushion with cover pad.

17. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER (for Cover Separate Type)

      1. Disconnect the connector.
      2. Disengage the 2 wire harness clamps.

        Remove the front seatback cover band and cushion band.

        Disengage the 2 wire harness clamps.
      5. Remove the airbag connector.

    2. w/ Vertical Adjuster:

        Remove the 2 front seatback cover bands.

        Disconnect the connector.
      3. Disengage the 2 wire harness clamps.

      5. Remove the airbag connector.

        Remove the 4 bolts and the front seatback.

    1. Using a screwdriver, remove the E-ring.

    2. Remove the 4 bolts and the front seatback.

18. REMOVE SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD (for Cover Integrated Type)

20. REMOVE DYNAMIC DAMPER (for 1KR-FE)
